The Asian Development Bank Mission called on Dr. Sania Nishtar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Social Protection and Poverty Alleviation to explore avenues of technical collaboration under Ehsaas framework. The Mission was led by Country Director, Xaiohong Yang. ADB Mission praised the social welfare and poverty alleviation initiatives rolled out under the multisectoral Ehsaas programme and assured full cooperation to continue its support to the deprived segments of the society in Pakistan, through the Ehsaas programme. Dr. Nishtar acknowledged the support extended by ADB to Pakistan and stated that ADB has a key role in supporting women empowerment and poverty alleviation across the country.
