September 14, 2020: To explore options for strategic collaboration around digitally centred social welfare in Pakistan, Dr. Sania Nishtar, Special Assistant to the PM on Social Protection and Poverty Alleviation connected with senior management of United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Global. In the virtual meeting, Dr. Nishtar was joined by Head of Strategic Innovation UNDP Global, Giulio Quaggiotto, Innovation Specialist UNDP Asia Pacific Alexandru Oprunenco and Resident Rep a.i. UNDP Pakistan Aliona Niculita. The meeting discussed potential synergies between Ehsaas and UNDP on the future of governance for poverty, social safety and digital transformation.
