Sania stocktakes Ehsaas Undergrad Scholarships in field to review the success

Nov 4, 2020 – Islamabad: SAPM Dr. Sania Nishtar visited National University of Technology (NUTECH) for policy consultation with the faculty and students who had been awarded Ehsaas Undergraduate scholarship last year. At the venue, Dr. Nishtar interacted with students to gain insights on their educational aspirations and key problems being confronted by them. Dr. Hassan Jalil Shah, Advisor Human Resource Development Division Higher Education Commission (HEC), Rao Muhammad Azhar, Project Director Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship and Rector NUTECH University were also present on the occasion. “To make the Ehsaas undergraduate scholarship programme more responsive, the voices of students are critical” said Dr. Nishtar. Students who were awarded scholarship last year and those who had applied this year gave very valuable suggestions about the programme. Overall, 49 eligible students of NUTECH were awarded Ehsaas scholarships in the year 2019-20.
