The Secretary, along with his team, discussed progress on Adaptive Social Protection, ongoing cooperation under the Letter of Understanding (LoU) signed between MoPASS and GIZ, and the “Lead the Change for Social Protection” initiative.

The discussion also covered strengthening federal-provincial coordination, developing shock-responsive social protection systems, improving social protection data and interoperability, and strengthening linkages with climate and disaster-risk management.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation for a more adaptive, responsive and resilient social protection system in Pakistan.
